The Rehab Group provides high quality education, training, employment, job creation and social care services to people with disabilities and to people experiencing other forms of social and economic exclusion.

Rehab Group was formed in Ireland over 50 years ago and today operates across national boundaries. The Group employs more than 2,000 staff and more than 40,000 people access services each year within 160 centres that are located across Ireland and the UK

Who We Are

The Rehab Group is a not for profit, non-governmental organisation that provides services to and otherwise supports people who are experiencing problems of social exclusion, especially those relating to disability.

The Group compromises of a number of diverse companies that operate across Ireland and the UK, each with its own identity and large degree of autonomy. These include:

  • National Training and Development Institute - Training, education, enterprise development and job creation services to more than 3,000 people annually at 60 location.
  • RehabCare - Community based health and social care to over 1,500 people. Gandon Enterprises - Employment creation initiative involving a unique integrated work force of 500 people, half of whom are people with disabilities.
  • Momentum - Acknowledged innovators in brain injury treatment and rehabilitation with centres across the UK.

Rehab Group's role goes beyond just providing services. The Group is a leading campaigner for reforms, seeking the removal of barriers that prevent equal opportunities, especially for people with disabilities. Rehab has NGO status with the United Nations and is very active internationally in development projects.

What We Can Do for You

Rehab Group is committed to campaigning and otherwise working for better social inclusion, within a broad coalition of all stakeholders. The Group is centrally involved in a number of international organisations that exist to promote the independence of people with disabilities along with the inclusion of all people suffering as a result of marginalisation. These include:

  • Workability International involving members from more than 54 countries.
  • Rehabilitation International a federation of disability sector organisations
  • European Platform for Rehabilitation Standards improvement through information sharing.
