Employment in Europe 2003: The Main Findings of the Commission's Report

The Employment in Europe report, published annually, presents a panorama of recent developments in European labour markets. This is the 15th edition of the report, and the first in which the acceding and accession countries have been almost fully integrated into the analysis. As in previous editions, there is a detailed statistical annex with key employment indicators, macroeconomic indicators and short-term projections. This background note highlights some of the particularly interesting findings of the report.
